ECVIM-CA
- European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine - Companion
Animals- is a veterinary specialty
organization which was established in June 1994 by the
European Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ESVIM).
The College was formed in response to a growing demand
for specialized veterinary care for companion animals
and a need to harmonize the certification of specialists
within Europe. |
ES
- Endocrine Society- is the world's
largest and most active professional organization of endocrinologists
in the world. Founded in 1916, the Society is internationally
known as the leading source of state-of-the art research
and clinical advancements in endocrinology and metabolism. |
ESA
- Entomological Society of America- is
the largest organization in the world serving the professional
and scientific needs of entomologists and people in related
disciplines. Founded in 1889, ESA today has more than
6,000 members. This number includes educators, extension
personnel, consultants, students, researchers, and scientists
from agricultural departments, health agencies, private
industries, colleges and universities, and state and federal
governments. |
ESFM
- European Society of Feline Medicine- ESFM
takes an active role in the promotion of feline medicine
by keeping its members informed of the latest developments
in this field through the publication of the Journal of
Feline Medicine and Surgery, and in addition through the
organisation of its annual conference and other day-conferences
held in association with other existing European veterinary
conferences such as FECAVA and BSAVA. |
ESVOT
- European Society of Veterinary Orthopaedics and Traumatology-
is open to any veterinarian or member
belonging to an affiliated profession interested in orthopaedics
and traumatology.The objectives of the society are: to
disseminate the basic principles and advances in veterinary
orthopaedics by means of continuing education; to coordinate
the activities of national autonomous societies; to establish
close contacts with other organizations which may share
mutual interests. |
EUROTOX
(Association of European Toxicologists & European Societies
of Toxicology)- is the Federation
of national societies of toxicology in Europe, which together
have approximately 7,000 members. In addition, EUROTOX
counts some 500 individual members who come from 50 countries,
mostly from Western Europe. According to its statutes,
EUROTOX aims to foster toxicology, both scientifically
and educationally, in all countries of Europe. |
